they kill a few of our men
so we kill a few more of theirs
can we tell which side is winning
by looking at the dead people stare
and can we still close our eyes and justify
when we keep on fighting
the same damn fights and
just training more people to die

they build a few more bombs

our bombs will safeguard our freedom
our president says with a smile
but with each new
advancement in technology
we're further away from real world peace
and we're weakening our security

or you're better dead than red
communists are godless monsters
or at least that's what reagan said
and its easier to hate a faceless group

if we bleach them out in a nuclear rain
